HolidayCheck now available in ten languages
The largest German-language hotel rating portal, HolidayCheck, has expanded its multilingual services in Europe further with the launch of the Czech and Swedish-language sites, holidaycheck.cz and holidaycheck.se. There had already been lively activity on the previously existing HolidayCheck portals from holidaymakers rating and recommending hotels in the Czech Republic and Sweden.
Friedrich von Scanzoni, CBDO (International) at HolidayCheck, explained: “The new platforms will expand our service in Europe to a total of ten languages. The success of our European platforms shows the huge demand among consumers for transparency and quality where package holiday reservations are concerned. Travellers want to be sure that they are getting value for money, especially in difficult economic times. Now travellers in the Czech Republic and Sweden also have this comfort.”
Already over a million ratings for more than 68,000 hotels in 212 countries can now be viewed on the HolidayCheck database in Bottighofen at Lake Constance, Switzerland. On top of this, there are more than a million private holiday photos that serve as a supplement to the photos in glossy holiday brochures. Cruise ratings have also been collected for more than a year.
